In the first of two Friday quarter finals played in Peoria, Des Moines Menace advanced to the playoff semi finals after scoring two late goals. Bavarians shaded the first half in a cagey matchup, but the Menace began to take control in the second half, eventually making their pressure pay dividends that send them into the next round on Sunday.
